Competitive Squads

SELECTION AND PROGRESSION

Gymnasts are selected for the competitive squad sections of the club if they demonstrate high potential either in the recreational classes or in the annual open trials. The trials are purely for identifying talented children. If your child shows potential, depending on age, they will be asked to trial with one of the following groups:

For gymnasts who show potential to move into 4-piece competitive gymnastics.

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD
Development_Squad

These classes cater for gymnasts who compete at 4-piece competitive gymnastics (Floor, Vault, Asymmetric Bars, and Beam).

PERFORMANCE SQUAD

These classes cater for more advanced gymnasts who compete at 4-piece competitive gymnastics (Floor, Vault, Asymmetric Bars, and Beam)
